Product Owner

We are seeking an experienced Technical Product Owner to take ownership of our enterprise orchestration and automation capability. This role is critical in shaping the operating model, evolving engineering practices, and ensuring the platform meets business needs for scalability, security, and compliance.

You will translate platform strategy into a prioritised roadmap, balancing feature delivery with platform health, resilience, and technical governance. Collaborating closely with engineering, operations, architecture, and service management teams, you will enable continuous improvement and deliver measurable business value.

• Own and maintain the capability vision, roadmap, and outcomes across build, run, and continuous improvement phases.
• Manage demand intake and prioritisation for features, resilience measures, and technical debt reduction.
• Define and track KPIs, OKRs, and SLAs to drive outcome-based delivery and measurable improvements.
• Ensure backlog items (epics, stories, NFRs) are well-defined and delivered through effective Agile practices.
• Work with operations to improve incident, problem, and change management processes.
• Communicate with stakeholders during major incidents and ensure robust post-incident reviews.
• Ensure platform compliance with risk, control, and regulatory frameworks.
• Enhance developer experience and onboarding by driving standards and promoting self-service capabilities.

• 3–7 years’ experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar technical leadership role – or a senior engineering/ops background with product delivery exposure.
• Hands-on experience with workflow automation, orchestration tools, and operating models in complex enterprise landscapes.
• Strong ability to manage technical backlogs, prioritise features and technical debt, and deliver predictable outcomes.
• Solid understanding of production operations (incident/problem/change management, capacity, resilience, monitoring).
• Knowledge of working in regulated environments, with an appreciation for risk management, security, and compliance.
• Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to influence stakeholders across engineering, operations, and leadership teams.

Nice to have:

• Experience in Service Orchestration platforms, IT automation tools, and DevOps-driven ecosystems.
• Familiarity with cloud adoption processes and platform governance.
