Delivery Manager

We are seeking an experienced Delivery Manager to join the CTO Application Platforms function, responsible for enabling engineering teams to build resilient, high‑performing, and cost‑optimised applications.

This role leads cross‑functional teams in delivering modern, scalable digital platforms while fostering continuous improvement, innovation, and agile excellence. The Delivery Manager will oversee project execution from concept to release, ensuring outcomes are delivered on time, within scope and budget.

• Facilitate delivery of high‑quality software from discovery to release using Agile methodologies.
• Align business goals with release plans to ensure timely and value‑driven delivery.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Delivery Leads, and cross‑functional teams to remove impediments and maintain team focus.
• Organise and lead Agile ceremonies — sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and daily stand‑ups.
• Plan, track, and communicate release schedules, milestones, and team velocity.
• Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes, governance, and tools.
• Lead release management preparation and execution, ensuring compliance and quality.
• Identify and mitigate delivery risks and dependencies across teams.
• Report on project performance using metrics such as velocity, burn‑down charts, and backlog tracking.

• Proven track record of successfully managing technology deliveries in complex environments.
• Experience working with Agile and hybrid delivery models on global projects.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes including design, build, testing, and deployment.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and coordination skills, with the ability to influence and align teams.
• Experience with estimation, sprint planning, risk tracking, and progress reporting.
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, or Rally.
• Self‑driven, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic setup.
