We are seeking an experienced Senior Azure Data Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design and development of a modern data platform leveraging Azure Databricks, Apache Spark, and Data Lake. What you'll be doing

Design and develop data processing workflows and pipelines
Build and maintain scalable data pipelines for analytics and reporting
Work with Azure Databricks and Apache Spark for large-scale data transformations
Develop robust solutions using Python and SQL
Integrate data from multiple sources and ensure high data quality
Optimize performance and efficiency of ETL/ELT processes
Monitor data flows and troubleshoot issues to ensure stability
Collaborate closely with data architects, analysts, and business teams

Who we're looking for

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer
Expertise in Azure Data Platform with strong experience in Azure Databricks
Solid knowledge of Apache Spark and distributed data processing
Excellent skills in Python and SQL
Experience with Data Lake architectures
Strong understanding of data modeling and data processing principles
Proficiency with Git and collaborative development environments

Nice to Have

Experience with Hive and Apache Impala
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for data solutions
Exposure to working with large-scale datasets (Big Data)
Background in the financial services sector
