As a Data Security Policy Engineer, you will design, implement, and maintain data security policies that protect core systems, support regulatory compliance, and enhance overall cyber resilience.

What you'll be doing

Design, implement, and continuously improve Data Security policies aligned with risk and compliance frameworks;
Oversee policy engineering to ensure all data protection controls are effective and optimized;
Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify requirements and address security gaps;
Support deployment and migration of new security tools into BAU operations;
Provide reporting (MI/KXI) and insights for senior management;
Engage in innovative security projects and mentor junior team members.

Who we're looking for

5+ years’ experience in data security engineering,
Practical experience with DLP solutions (Symantec, Zscaler, Trellix, Proofpoint),
Strong knowledge of Data in Motion / Data at Rest Security,
Proven experience in creating and updating data security policies,
Degree in IT or Cybersecurity,
Certifications: CISSP, CISA, or CISM,
Familiarity with Agile methodology and project planning,
Excellent communication skills across various stakeholder groups.
