Data Analyst - Cryptography

On behalf of our client, we are searching for a Data Analyst to join the Analytics team within the Cryptography programme as part of the global Cybersecurity – Global Defence function. The role involves working on large datasets within Azure Data Lake and Databricks, applying Medallion architecture principles. You will prepare and process data for automation and reporting purposes, including dashboard creation with Power BI.

What you'll be doing

Perform in-depth analysis of large and dynamic datasets to extract insights and ensure data quality.
Develop optimized logic for data processing and design efficient, reusable scripts for data collection and cleansing.
Build and maintain scalable data pipelines from multiple sources.
Visualize data findings through charts, dashboards, and clear presentations (Power BI).
Collaborate with business stakeholders and the Cyber Data Lake teams.
Maintain documentation for data processes, methodologies, and insights.
Follow Agile and DevOps best practices, including test-driven development

Who we're looking for

Proficiency in Python and SQL.
Experience with big data and data science frameworks (PySpark, Spark SQL strongly preferred).
Knowledge of Azure Databricks and data pipeline development.
Strong data visualization experience using Power BI.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills and willingness to learn.
Hands-on experience working in an Agile team
