We are looking for a Technical Product Owner to join a cross‑functional team building a modern Data Platform and Portal for enterprise‑scale data management and analytics.

What you'll be doing

Manage and prioritise the product backlog in close collaboration with stakeholders.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies — sprint planning, stand‑ups, backlog refinement, reviews and retrospectives.
Collaborate with developers, UI/UX designers and business users to align delivery with business goals.
Track delivery progress, risks, dependencies and impediments to ensure on‑time value delivery.
Elicit and document requirements, translating them into user stories and acceptance criteria.
Analyse data collected in GCP / BigQuery to identify patterns, trends and insights.
Act as a subject‑matter expert for business and technical data processes and requirements.
Support testing and validation, ensuring requirements are clear, measurable and testable.
Promote continuous improvement of product features and delivery processes.

Who we're looking for

Proven experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or Scrum Master (preferably covering multiple roles).
Hands‑on experience in requirements gathering, user story writing and acceptance criteria definition.
Strong collaboration skills with cross‑functional teams — developers, testers, UX designers and business stakeholders.
Practical experience using Jira for product backlog management and prioritisation.
Experience in Agile or Scrum delivery environments with a focus on iteration planning and process refinement.
Ability to model and design data flows and process diagrams.
Proficiency in SQL and data analysis techniques for validation and reporting.
Excellent command of English (written and spoken).

Nice to Have

Experience in user acceptance testing (UAT) and defect management.
Knowledge of data modelling, pipelines and refinery environments.
Familiarity with GCP, BigQuery and Confluence.
Experience working in a large or matrix organisation.
Understanding of data management principles, including data quality, lineage, protection and retention.
