What you'll be doing

You'll step in as an AWS DevOps Engineer within the Global Cloud Services Operations team, working closely with project teams globally to build safe, reliable, and scalable cloud solutions. Your role will be central to keeping critical cloud platforms running and evolving – not just execution.

What you'll be doing

Supporting project teams in building safe, reliable, and secure systems that address global business needs.
Assisting in the management of AWS accounts and operating key platform services.
Collaborating with development teams to ensure secure and efficient project launches.
Providing on-call support, solving technical problems, and leading major incident investigations.
Automating solutions and improving operational efficiency using Python, Ansible, Terraform, and CI/CD tooling.
Writing clear documentation accessible to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ensuring security is a fundamental part of every solution delivered in an AWS context.

Who we're looking for

Must have:

Broad experience working across many cloud services, with a specific focus on AWS.
Strong Python skills for automation; excellent scripting skills also considered.
Proficient experience with CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code tooling: Git, Ansible, Terraform.
Good understanding of Linux and/or Windows operating systems.
Practical understanding of DevOps and Agile methodologies – you build it, you own it, you support it.
Demonstrable enterprise infrastructure delivery experience.
Strong communication skills – comfortable collaborating across technical and non-technical teams.
Security-first mindset with the ability to apply it in an AWS context.

Nice to have:

AWS certification(s).
Strong Terraform skills.
Linux or Windows certification(s).
Good non-functional testing experience.
Understanding of risk management and compliance.
Experience working in a highly regulated industry.
