Join our client's team, where you'll play a key role in delivering a strategic, multi-year change programme within the Product Control function of one of the world's leading global financial institutions. Your contribution will help deliver high-impact solutions in financial services – Global Banking & Markets finance infrastructure transformation at enterprise scale.

You'll step in as a Project Manager, working closely with the Product Control Change Manager, Finance IT, Traded Risk, and Front Office teams across Kraków, London, and India. Your role will be central to delivering complex, cross-functional change initiatives – spanning data source migration, P&L Explain improvement, FX position governance, and IPV implementation – not just execution.

#LI-Hybrid - 2 days per week on-site in Kraków and 3 days per week working remotely from Poland

• Supporting the Product Control Change Manager by producing high-quality project analysis, ensuring all documentation meets Business Transformation Framework (BTF) standards
• Understanding and mapping the FX position process as captured in Product Control and coordinating its sharing with Traded Risk; liaising with and educating Traded Risk on PC business processes
• Analysing P&L Explain data exceptions and determining root causes; managing end-to-end resolution including requirements documentation, stakeholder-agreed solutions, testing, and go-live support
• Improving governance of adjustments made by Product Control: analysing adjustment data, capturing root cause information, and developing improved tooling to visualise and simplify adjustment review routines
• Working closely with IT teams to assess delivery estimates and ensure supporting documentation is clear and concise
• Designing and maintaining appropriate project governance structures tailored to initiative needs; linking into other ongoing strategic programmes to avoid duplication
• Proactively identifying bottlenecks and risks to project milestones; maintaining RAID logs and escalating high-risk items through steering groups and change forums
• Managing conflicting requirements across multiple workstreams to tight deadlines; communicating effectively with geographically dispersed teams

• 5+ years of experience within a Product Control function, or an adjacent function such as Traded/Market/Credit Risk; 8+ years of overall professional experience
• Proven track record of contributing to or leading strategic change initiatives, engaging stakeholders across geographies and seniority levels
• Ability to design, propose, and set up project governance structures tailored to complex, multi-stream initiatives
• Strong RAID management skills: proactive identification of bottlenecks, escalation through steering groups and change forums
• Excellent analytical and documentation skills: requirements documentation, data analysis, design documentation, testing artefacts
• Strong communication skills – essential for working with IT development teams not based locally and stakeholders across London, Kraków, and India
• Ability to prioritise among conflicting requirements and manage multiple workstreams under tight deadlines

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of P&L Explain, FX position processes, IPV, or market data time series
• Experience with Fidessa or similar trading/risk platforms
• Familiarity with Vault or similar results data stores
• Leadership experience: coaching or managing Business Analysts
• Experience operating within a Business Transformation Framework (BTF) or equivalent change governance model
