Localization Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Localization Project Manager to lead the successful execution of localization programs and multilingual content delivery across the enterprise. This role involves coordinating translation operations, localization workflows, and release readiness activities for global products, websites, and communications.

1. Localization Program & Delivery Management

• Lead end-to-end localization project execution across products, websites, documentation, customer communications, legal, and internal content.
• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, milestones, and delivery commitments.
• Coordinate workstreams across engineering teams, business stakeholders, and localization vendors.
• Support release planning, workflow validation, deployment readiness, and UAT activities.
• Ensure deliverables meet established deadlines, scope, and quality requirements.

2. Vendor & Operational Management

• Serve as the primary operational contact for localization vendors.
• Manage project intake, prioritization, scheduling, and delivery tracking.
• Monitor vendor performance against service levels, timelines, and quality KPIs.
• Coordinate stakeholder reviews and approvals during project execution.

3. Risk, Quality & Issue Management

• Identify and manage project risks, dependencies, and capability gaps.
• Support resolution of workflow, tooling, or content delivery challenges.
• Partner with Localization QA, vendors, and reviewers to ensure linguistic and technical quality.
• Escalate significant risks or issues to leadership as needed.

4. Stakeholder Communication & Reporting

• Provide regular status updates, progress reports, and delivery metrics.
• Facilitate collaboration across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Legal, and Regional teams.
• Maintain dashboards, performance tracking, and facilitate reviews to identify improvements in efficiency and quality.

• Bachelor’s degree in Localization, Linguistics, Communications, IT, Project Management, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience managing localization, globalization, or multilingual content delivery programs.
• Experience using Translation Management Systems (TMS) such as Trados, Smartling, or similar platforms.
• Proven ability to manage vendors, projects, and cross-functional teams in complex environments.
• Solid experience handling digital content or software release cycles.
• Strong organizational, communication, scheduling, and risk management skills.

Nice to have:

• PMP, Agile, or Scrum certification in project management.
• Experience implementing or integrating localization technology platforms.
• Familiarity with GitHub-based localization workflows and repository management.
• Understanding of UAT processes, release readiness, and localization quality frameworks.
• Experience working in global, matrixed organizations supporting diverse regional teams.
