Cloud FinOps Support Analyst

We are looking for a Cloud FinOps Support Analyst to join our client’s team in a global IT organization. This role is part of an exciting initiative aimed at optimizing cloud costs and enhancing operational efficiency across multi-cloud environments. You’ll partner with the Chief Technology Office and key stakeholders to deliver actionable insights that impact infrastructure spend at scale.

What you'll be doing

Operate within multi-cloud production environments (AWS, Azure, and GCP where relevant), working hands-on with live workloads to identify pain points and cost drivers.Utilize cloud-native logging and monitoring services (CloudWatch/CloudTrail, Azure Monitor/Log Analytics, GCP Cloud Logging) and integrate them with SIEM/observability tools.
Query and analyze log data using tools like KQL, CloudWatch Logs Insights, SQL/BigQuery to detect trends and anomalies, troubleshoot end-to-end issues, and optimize processes.
Design and enhance logging architecture and lifecycle management, including retention policies, tiering strategies, and compliance controls.
Drive storage and logging cost optimization through retention tuning, filtering, sampling, data compression, and partitioning.
Deliver clear, quantified optimization proposals to stakeholders, outlining savings forecasts, trade-offs, and priorities.
Communicate complex technical findings in an actionable, clear manner for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Who we're looking for

Proven experience in multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP preferred) managing production workloads.
Hands-on expertise with cloud-native logging and monitoring tools and their integration with SIEM solutions.
Strong skills in log data extraction and analysis (KQL, CloudWatch Logs Insights, BigQuery/SQL).
Experience designing robust logging architecture and retention strategies for compliance and efficiency.
Demonstrated ability to optimize storage/logging costs with practical, scalable solutions.
Skilled in preparing data-driven optimization proposals with savings forecasts.
Excellent English communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
