We are looking for an experienced GCP DevOps Engineer to join the client's team. This role involves supporting the development and maintenance of data platforms and products in a hybrid infrastructure environment, focusing on automation, reliability, and efficiency.

What you'll be doing

Maintain CI/CD tooling and build new CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub, Nexus, Ansible).
Develop shared components and GCP deployment patterns.
Automate tasks to ensure resilience and compliance of IT services.
Contribute to Infrastructure as Code development using Terraform.
Support the development of SRE practices within the department.
Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and business teams daily.

Who we're looking for

Strong expertise in DevOps & CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub, Ansible, Nexus).
Proficiency in Linux administration and networking basics.
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
Cloud expertise in GCP (experience with AWS/Azure acceptable if ready to work with GCP).
Scripting/programming skills: Bash, Python.
Understanding of SRE principles, service management, and application lifecycle.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have:

Experience in regulated environments and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with data engineering tools (Airflow, Spark).
