Responsibilities:

  •        Lead a development team and play as a supervisory and project management role.
  •        Work closely with business/project partner to analyze business requirements and provide viable technical solutions.
  •        Design and develop IT solutions according to Bank's standards and best practices.
  •        Ensure a high quality standard of deliverables.
  •        Prepare documentation and provide support on compliance and audit checking.
  •        Development and support for new features and reports.
  •        Conduct system tests and provide support for user acceptance tests.
  •        Conduct system upgrade and new releases.
  •        Provide system support of business applications and resolve problems that may occur during business hours and non-business     hours. Ensuring the service availability according to the Service Level Agreement (SLA).
  •        Provide on-going support and maintenance on existing IT solutions. Participating in service continuity management exercise,   including disaster recovery drill.

Essential skills:

·     A university graduate with degree in computer science or a related discipline.

·     At least 6 years' IT working experience on development or application support, preferably in an enterprise or a global environment.

·     At least 5 years’ Development experience in ILE RPG and iSeries experience. Knowledge on iSeries Modernization Technology (e.g. SQLRPG, free format, API etc) would be an advantage.

·     Sound knowledge on securities custody would be an advantage. Basic level of understanding in investment banking and wealth management.

·     Strong system and business analysis skills with excellent knowledge of project life cycle and application development process

·     Strong problem solving skills, able to work independently and also within a global team.

·     Excellent command of written and spoken English, with strong communication skills to work with partners globally.

·     Enthusiastic and self-motivated with excellent time management skills.

·     Flexible and adaptable in accommodating change of requirement and willing to take new responsibilities when necessary. Willing to take shift work and odd hours support responsibility.

·     Ability to work under stress and deliver in a responsive manner.
