Senior Business Analyst

As a Senior Business Analyst in the Product Control team, you will be part of a multi-year change programme transforming finance data infrastructure and control processes across Global Markets. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders in Krakow, London, and beyond — bridging business, risk, and IT teams to implement robust data governance, P&L explain improvements, and operational model changes.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and in supporting process automation by analysing exceptions, improving tooling, and driving data quality enhancements.

What you'll be doing

Partner with multiple stakeholders to document, test, and deliver analytical solutions.
Analyse P&L Explain data exceptions, identify root causes, and design process improvements.
Support Product Control teams by enhancing governance of financial adjustments and data lineage.
Develop and improve tooling for adjustment visualization and review routines.
Liaise with Traded Risk and Finance IT on operating model changes and data-sharing processes.
Provide structured business documentation in compliance with the Business Transformation Framework (BTF).
Engage in testing, validation, and go-live support for new system features.

Who we're looking for

Proven experience (5+ years) in project delivery within a Markets and Securities Services environment.
Hands-on exposure to data quality, governance, and process improvement initiatives.
Understanding of Global Market Products, P&L, and valuation concepts.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
Excellent communication and documentation abilities in English.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Part-qualified accountant (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) desirable.
Familiarity with project lifecycle frameworks and change delivery methodologies preferred.
